GLORY BOX: A night of Trip Hop, Illbient, Dub, and Acid Jazz

A night of precisely curated soulful sonics, with deep, heavy beats and gloriously moody atmospheres.

Ringing in the Spring with the best of Bristol, from Massive Attack and Tricky to Portishead, we will take a journey across a world of sound, with stops in Illbient Crooklyn to visit DJ Spooky that Subliminal Kid, Bill Laswell, and Spectre the Ill Saint, to San Francisco where we'll hear from a certain Shadowy DJ. After that, we'll roll to Japan to rock with DJ Krush. From there, the sky's the limit, and we'll drift into the outer reaches of inner space.

Expect timeless classics and true underground cuts, to satisfy both the curious and the true heads.

Hailing from Atlanta, Rob is a writer/performer on IFC’s Sherman’s Showcase and the creator of the Haze-o-pedia stand-up album. This is a rare chance to catch a heavy hitter in an intimate setting.
